DMA's Olympia

Having released ‘Everybody’s Saying Thursday’s The Weekend’ and ‘I Don’t Need To Hide’ earlier this year, DMA’S aren’t holding back on teasers of their upcoming album How Many Dreams? as they’ve now shared another single: ‘Olympia’.

After dropping several more experimental songs, this track is a return to a more traditional DMA’S sound. The guitar is furious and rousing, a catchy drum beat and infectious melodies, a combination which will no doubt go down a treat when the Australian trio takes to the stage in the U.K. and Europe in 2023.

Whilst the band are known for their nostalgia tinged songs, their latest single — which has an accompanying video, directed by Kyle Caulfield— shows they are not looking back but instead looking forward.

Taking to Twitter, the band explained that ‘Olympia’ is “a dedication to all of our fans, especially the ones who have been with us from the start”. It might be a love letter to their fans, but this track also proves that at the heart of DMA’S is three friends making music and having a great time doing it.
