Cahoots‘ ‘No Money’ has racked up well over a million views on YouTube since its music video has been released this past March. The music video includes four cute boys and four cute puppies, so if that doesn’t sell you, we don’t know what else will. All joke’s aside, ‘No Money’ has a groovy beat and an even better message: ‘I’m rich in friends and love / ’cause the truth it doesn’t lie in black and white.’ It’s an age-old message that we’re all likely well-versed in, but it’s an important lesson nonetheless.
This track includes everything we love about a killer pop song — claps, a strong acoustic guitar part, and even some “hey’s” thrown in — it’s no wonder that it’s doing so well online. ‘No Money’ even has a Spanish version available on YouTube (Fifth Harmony and Demi Lovato anyone?)
All in all, ‘No Money’ has a lot of potential to do very well on the radio. We’re sure that you’ll hear it in a movie within the next year or so.
