Track Review: Kids In The Dark // All Time Low

The latest track by Baltimore rockers All Time Low is a special one. If ‘Something’s Gotta Give’ wasn’t enough to convince you that their new album Future Hearts, set for release April 7th, is an album worth cherishing in your hands then ‘Kids In The Dark’ will certainly do the trick. The sound is easily recognisable as All Time Low whilst still being fresh enough without becoming repetitive and unenjoyable. Lead singer Alex Gaskarth’s vocals are particularly hypnotising in the verses, speaking volumes about his growing talent and ability to grip you into a song for the long haul. To describe ‘Kids In The Dark’ as anything other than something beautiful would be an utter lie.

Knowing that fans were allowed to star in the filming process of the accompanying music video is a hidden bonus, making the track that little bit more touching and that little bit more personal. Jealousy of those in the video may set in if you are a hardcore fan but this can easily be pushed aside by the excitement building up to the release of Future Hearts.

The wait will soon be over.
