Australian artist BIG WETT is back with ‘DON’T U WANT IT ALL‘, a single taken from her up-and-coming debut EP PU$$Y set for release on 22nd September. Adding to her repertoire of naughty, NSFW tracks with tongue-in-cheek lyrics (quite literally, in the case of ‘EAT MY ASS’), ‘DONT U WANT IT ALL’ is a sexy banger with a hard bassline that just won’t quit.

The pitched-down vocals are throaty, androgynous, and reminiscent of LSDXOXO’s ‘Sick Bitch’—they’re intoned in a husky, after-the-after-party voice. When the pitch shifts higher in the last minute just as BIG WETT sings “don’t you wanna, wanna, wanna, wanna, wanna open up your mind to some nasty s**t”, the switch evokes a chemical come-up, an elevated state of sexually-charged euphoria. The three-minute track doesn’t feel long enough, as the addictive four-on-the-floor rhythm (the “oontz oontz”) leaves you wanting more. Much like horsegiirL with her pony mask and barnyard bops, BIG WETT has found inspiration in the farm, using clanking cowbell sounds in the song to pump up the party animals. BIG WETT said of the track: “This song kinda just fell together and I love it. It’s so dank and sexy. Love the sound of my voice pitched-down in this. Also, who doesn’t love a nasty bass line, lots of cowbell and some obnoxious shrieking? It’s a winning combo.”

Nothing screams “don’t you want it all” like the OTT maximalism of the all-capital letters that spell out BIG WETT’S name and song titles. ‘DON’T U WANT IT ALL’ is for people who want it all, all the sex, all the drugs, all the parties, all the horny hedonism, and all the fun. It’s also for people who just love techno. BIG WETT describes her music as “slut pop, erotic bangers, sex rap—song for sluts”, and if she keeps popping off with songs like these, she’ll soon earn her place in the slut pop/sex rap canon among stars like Kim Petras and cupcakKe.
