On their latest song ‘Burns’, the band flesh out their gothic and post-punk influences. The dark rumbling bass is present throughout, which works well because it reflects the mood of the song. But what really stands out is the chorus, because it is very catchy and the vocal delivery is passionate, driving the track forward.
Edits have a dark and heavy sound which is inspired by Muse and DFA 1979. They have received attention from blogs including Louder than War and Little Indie Blogs. The band say that their songs are about freedom and letting your emotions out.
Edits are a promising band, and if they produce more tracks like ‘Burns’, they could have a bright future ahead of them.
