Swedish singer-songwriter Andreas Moe is well known for his modern day crooner antics, once again serving up a knee-jerking love anthem for all the hopeless romantics with his track ‘Borderline’. After being discovered in 2011 and releasing his first debut EP Collecting Sunshine the following year, the Stockholm native has a reputation for expressive songwriting and captivating melodies.
‘Borderline’, taken from his current EP of the same name is a triumphant blend of acoustic and pop, accounting a tale about overcoming all the difficulties of modern love. Beginning with a rather endearing guitar riff, Moe’s pleasantly mellow voice follows with a raw authenticity that thaws even the coldest of hearts.
Reaching its crescendo, the listener is exposed to a range of instrumentations, from a pulsing electric guitar, thumping drumbeats, formidable backing vocals and quirky trumpet sounds. The arrangement leaves you with a real Mumford & Sons impression, making you want to jump up and dance along to it.
