Feel Good (2020- )
Mae Martin stars in a semi-autobiographical series about a recovering addict who is navigating a romantic relationship, a comedy career, and family issues. At first, it presents itself as a love story – regular girl and troubled girl fall for each other – but it’s soon clear that it will not be as straightforward. In the midst of settling into a new relationship, Mae must continue to stay clean of the drugs which ruined her familial ties, whilst George must come out as a part of the LGBTQ+ community.
It is refreshing to watch something that is so plainly set in the modern age. The main character can question her gender and sexuality easily; sex is a casual conversation. It isn’t one fixes the other, it is a journey of working on a relationship both together and apart.

Catastrophe (2015-2019)
After a brief fling turns into a pregnancy, Sharon and Rob find themselves going from lovemaking strangers to a married couple trying to raise children. From witty conversations to prurient humour, it is nearly impossible not to laugh as we follow this couple who left the falling in love until later.
The series effortlessly melds the comedy genre with drama, with the jokes floating in naturally. Whether it’s Rob’s alcoholism or marriage problems, a quick comeback assures you that these two will make it through. It is rare to see such intense chemistry from two on-screen characters, but Horgan and Delaney deliver with both their acting and writing skills.
