As you can see there were no Thor appearances on this list, moreover Iron Man 3 which grossed over 1 billion worldwide wasn’t in the top 5 either, in fact it came 9th. With The Incredible Hulk (2008) only the second film in the universe to finish lower.
There’s much more to look forward to in Phase 3 however, not only are we getting more diverse and new heroes (Black Panther & Captain Marvel), but we’re getting contrasting ideologies in from our main team members Cap and Stark (Captain America 3: Civil War), as well as The climax to the universe it self in Avengers Infinty War Part 1 (2018) and 2 (2019). For now we keep our hearts in our chests as we look to April 23rd for Age of Ultron, while still knowing in the back of our brains we will be getting more varied stories, characters, genres and great films and TV series from Marvel Studios.
