The Darkness
We end on The Darkness, a band who are most famous for vocally expressing that they believe in a thing called love, then following it with a high pitched bit no-one can hope to hit or even really understand without googling it. Why should you see this rock band? Because they’re hilarious, they don’t take themselves too seriously, and most importantly they’re reminiscent of a classic rock genre which is otherwise hopelessly unrepresented at Brownstock.
Also, while there’s no guarantee they’ll come dressed in the glam rock style outfits of their music videos, can you really afford to risk missing what would be the most fabulous attire Essex has ever seen? Exactly.
Clearly it’s been difficult to narrow down what is a star-studded line-up into five bands, and to any acts reading this, I’m sorry, you’d definitely have been sixth. Hope all you going have a wonderful festival, and don’t be the idiot that accidentally takes laughing gas – it leads to mockery.
