Our first main stage entry, Indiana describes her music as “menacing and emotional electronica with 80s-inspired synths and haunting vocals”. Very specific, and also very popular, Indiana saw her 2014 single ‘Solo Dancing’ reach 14th in the UK charts, and her debut album No Romeo was released this year. With an abundance of new material to share with the crowd, Indiana seems a safe bet to provide a top-quality set.
Her music is, admittedly, a bit more soulful than the easy-listening bands and DJ sets which dominate Brownstock’s line-up card, but her unique style is even more of a reason to try and catch her on Sunday – you’re unlikely to hear any music of the same type over the weekend.
