Brownstock Festival is nearly here, commencing Friday 10th, and to help you make the most of an amazing weekend, here’s a list of 5 acts it’d be criminal to miss out on.
Stealing Signs
If you’ve heard of them then you probably live in South Woodham Ferrers. Stealing Signs originate from there, and despite playing gigs throughout the UK and recently being featured on Essex Radio, they’re yet to break into the ‘well known’ of what is a notoriously congested genre. However don’t let this relative anonymity put you off, the band are a class act; their newest single ‘Hide and Seek’ shows itself to be a track on a par with the work of far more famous artists.
The band’s quite laid-back approach makes them an ideal fit for the stage they intend to play, The Treehouse Stage. The smallest of Brownstock’s four, The Treehouse Stage offers a much more relaxed and intimate experience, the perfect atmosphere for the local boys to make a triumphant return. If you’re going to Brownstock to discover new music, or to laze in a tyre full of leaves, your desires can be sated by heading over to watch what is sure to be an enjoyable set on the Saturday night.
