5. Burt Bacharach – Pyramid Stage, Sunday
The master of love songwriting had the Pyramid crowd in the palm of his hand with his arsenal of truly classic songs, from ‘I Say A Little Prayer’ to ‘Walk On By’. The Glastonbury crowd is a varied one, but one thing they – and perhaps most of the world – have in common, is that they know all the words to these songs. ‘Raindrops Keep Fallin’ On My Head’ was just one of these euphoric, unifying moments that will go down in Glasto history.
