7. Leon Bridges – John Peel Stage, Friday
Speaking of success stories, this young Texan has already made quite a stir with his authentic brand of smooth west-coast soul. Bridges earned himself possibly the most enthusiastic crowd response of the weekend, being totally unable to get a word in between songs past the truly rapturous applause. The pinnacle of the set was his swooning debut single, ‘Coming Home’.
