Eliza and the Bear
All I remember hearing in spring last year was ‘Friends’ by Eliza and the Bear, after it was featured in the successful and memorable Bulmers advert campaign. Inspired by the early music of banjo turned electronic group Mumford and Sons, the band make lively alternative rock, and it is the folk elements of their tracks which create their joyous uplifting sound. Other tracks from the London based group, made up of five lads James, Callie, Martin, Chris and Paul, include ‘It Gets Cold’, ‘Light it Up’, and ‘Lion’s Heart’.
