JP Cooper had one of the most recognisable voices of the summer last year, after his voice was featured on Jonas Blue’s summer dance sensation ‘Perfect Strangers’. This was all part of his plan to kick off his own solo career, and he released chart hit ‘September Song’, a track reminiscing a young love, earlier on in 2017 and it peaked at No7. The self-taught musician from Manchester had been self-releasing EPs for several years before mainstream success, and other songs the singer has released include ‘Closer’, ‘Party’, and latest single ‘Passport Home’.
