Fallout 4

The vault doors open up to a new world again in one of the most anticipated games of the year. Putting players in Boston 200 years after a nuclear war, Fallout 4 will feature male and female playable (and customisable) players to explore the new landscape and the ruins of the city. While completing quests will help progress the story in game, the huge open world will allow for non-linear game play, putting the story in players’ hands to do as much or as little as they want, aided by companions – be they mechanical, animal or human.

Those lucky enough to have a Pip Boy Edition of the game will be able to keep track of their progress with the fully operational device just like their players. Buildings, weapons and armour will be fully customisable. There will also be a chance to play a little bit of pre-war life as the game starts before the first bombs fall. Bethesda have said the world of Fallout 4 is the biggest they’ve ever made – bigger than Skyrim and Fallout 3 put together. Combine this with all the building/character options and the ability to continue upgrading and progress even once the story has finished and we could be looking at a next-gen classic in the making.

Fallout 4 will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC from November 10*
