May’s gaming releases will take players to new worlds in both the past and the future, taking on deadly missions to save their homelands from dangers both magical and militant while also expanding the worlds and lore of beloved franchises.

Trek To Yomi

The quest is on for revenge in the action-adventure. In Trek to Yomi, players take on the role of Hiroki, a young warrior who is bound to an oath made to his dying Master. Sworn to protect his town and the people who reside there, Hiroki must balance his duty with the path of his own life. A task made more difficult with a rising threat to his village from supernatural forces. Burdened by tragedy and destiny, Hiroki must find a way to defeat the evil plaguing his home, while also deciding what path he will take on the future he is fighting for.

Players who pre-order on any platform will receive a 10% discount on the purchase.

Trek to Yomi will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC from May 5*

Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising

Discover the past in this action RPG. Set in the same world as Eiyuden Chronicle, the new tale of Eiyuden Chronicles: Rising will take players back in time. Exploring the pre-war world will give players new insights into characters who will eventually become party members in later adventures in the series. As they learn more about their future companions, players will also be able to learn more and more about the world they live in, including being able to upgrade and expand the towns around them in order to prosper.

Players will be able to link together their game saves for both Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising and Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes to unlock a series of in-game perks after the launch of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, which is currently set for 2023.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC from May 10*

Salt and Sacrifice

The frontier awaits in this dark action story. In Salt and Sacrifice, players take on the role of a Marked Inquisitor. Part of a group of condemned people who must stop the spread of Magic throughout the world. Setting out from the Pardoner’s Vale and through the western frontier, players are tasked with hunting down Mages. While players are bound to the Inquisition, their choices are their own as they must figure out how best to proceed in this ongoing battle against chaos and the secrets hidden within.

A sequel to 2016’s Salt and Sanctuary, this new story expands the universe established in the original through a new period and original story while retaining the art style, dark tones and challenging combat. From gothic-inspired castles to gloomy and perilous dungeons and caverns, players will be taken through this macabre world as one of eight different classes, each with their own skills and weaknesses. From the start, players will have to plan their every move as danger is around every corner.

Salt and Sacrifice will be available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 from May 10*

Evil Dead: The Game

Ash is back, and he’s not alone in this horror adventure. In Evil Dead: The Game, players can work either solo or with up to three others in four-player missions as they fight against the demon hordes being unleashed on Earth. Set in motion by Professor Knowby reading from the Necronomicon, players will have to track down the professor’s recordings by completing missions and tasks using a combination of characters from the Evil Dead films and the Ash v Evil Dead television series.

Those looking for a twist on the tale will also be able to test their skills as a Kandarian Demon, taking every advantage the isolated cabin environment can bring them to hunt down Ash and his allies. Players who pre-order will receive two additional outfits for Ash – the S-Mart Employee and Gallant Knight outfits.

Evil Dead: The Game will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC from May 13*

The masquerade continues in this conspiracy-driven story. Set in the World of Darkness on the streets of Boston, Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong follows the stories of three different vampires – Galen, Emem and Leysha, investigating a shootout. With the laws of the Masquerade – the practice of hiding the existence of vampires from the human world – being held firmly in place by the ruling Camarilla sect and their Prince, Hazel Iverson, players will choose who’s story they will follow as they try and uncover the truth about what really happened that night and what it means for the future of the clans and they plans for survival.
