Dark Souls Remastered

Return to the land of Lourdan in this remaster. Dark Souls puts players into a world where ancient beings once ruled using the power of the First Flame. With the power of the Flame diminishing, thanks to the rise of humanity, one of these rulers, Gwyn sacrificed himself to keep the Flame alight and continue the Age of Fire. However, this has allowed a new evil to rise in Lourdan, with the Undead Curse now unleashed, which it is up to the player to stop.

As well as the updated game, Dark Souls Remastered will also feature all the content from the Artorias of the Abyss DLC. This additional story takes players to Oolacile, a continent under threat from the rise of the Abyss – an expanse of darkness – and the ever-growing power of Manus. After the great Knight Artorias failed in his mission to protect the land, and his companion Sif, from Manus, it now falls to the player to take on the quest to defeat Manus and discover the fate of the Knight.

Dark Souls Remastered will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch from May 25*

Detroit: Become Human

The divide between man and machine is blurred in this new action adventure from Quantic Dream. In the near future world of Detroit: Become Human, androids are commonplace and have revitalised a struggling manufacturing industry in America’s heartland. Three of these androids take centre stage in this game – Markus looks to free his fellow androids from a life of servitude, Connor is a police android whose task is to hunt and apprehend rogue androids, and Kara is a newly constructed android with artificial consciousness looking to discover what it truly means to be a human.

As players make their way through the game, the entire story will be shaped by their choices. Each part of the story will have multiple outcomes based on a number of factors – how much information a player has, how long it takes to choose a course of action and even which characters players have been able to keep alive all come into play at some point. Players will also have the chance to go back to earlier story points and change the outcome of a particular mission or task if they end up regretting the initial choice. With no “game over” and countless options, Detroit: Become Human will have players exploring this altered world in their own unique way.

Detroit: Become Human will be available on PlayStation 4 from May 25*
