As spring starts to bloom, making your way in a new world is a common thread in April’s gaming releases. From a gothic take on the Deep South to unlocking the mysteries of a mountain estate, forging your legacy on the streets or the track, to learning from the mistakes of the past to stop a cycle of death from the monsters outside the walls, this month brings all that and more to enjoy.
South of Midnight
Explore a modern folktale in this dark, gothic adventure in the American Deep South. In South of Midnight, players will follow Hayley as she deals with the aftermath of a hurricane that has destroyed her hometown of Prospero. Now finding herself in an alternate reality where folklore and reality are one, Hazel must learn the ways of the Weavers – people who use magic to repair bonds between worlds – if she has any hope of finding her lost mother and returning home. Along the way, Hazel will uncover more about not only these creatures and stories of legends, but also about her own family and the secrets long kept hidden.
The Premium Edition includes the base game, up to five days Early Access, a digital copy of Olivier Deriviere’s soundtrack, the digital comic The Boo-Hag and access to the Songs & Tales of South of Midnight music video and Weaving Hazel’s Journey: Director’s Cut documentary (in English)
South of Midnight will be available on Xbox Series X/S and PC from April 8*
Blue Prince
Unlock the path to your destiny in this puzzling strategy adventure. As the heir to Mt Holly, a vast estate, the aim of Blue Prince is to follow the instructions of the estate’s previous owner and find Room 46. By unlocking one room at a time, players will have to plan their path carefully, as each step will count towards success or failure. But that’s not the only mystery to be solved in Mt Holly, as tales of political intrigue, missing authors and blackmail are also woven through the walls of this mysterious place.
To add more layers to this challenge, each dawn will reset the player’s path, with only permanent upgrades remaining. That also means any tools, gems, and equipment that may aid you will vanish with each new day. With the rooms available not always sure to appear the next day, players will have to study each type carefully if they wish to truly uncover all there is to learn about Mt Holly and those who once called it home.
Blue Prince will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC from April 10*

Venturing out into the world, players will find their faith in what they know to be shaken as one moment of defiance has lasting repercussions for all.

With the power to kill anyone that she draws on the monolith once they reach a certain age, many have tried to stop her, but none have succeeded. With only a year left to live before they can fall to the Paintress, Gustave and Maelle lead a team of Expeditioners to break this cycle of death, trying to learn from the past mistakes of previous expeditions and make sure they do not suffer the same fate.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves
One of the most iconic SNK fighting games makes a return with a new tale and some familiar faces. With crossplay, players will be able to take on their friends in Online mode using one of the 17 launch characters on the roster. Learn how to hone your fighting style with the game’s AI cloning system, which studies your play style to create a “clone” which can be used for training or competitive play.
