The Indiependent’s Revision Playlist

Luna // Bombay Bicycle Club

In the many revision playlists I have procrastinated days away making, there are numerous common songs. But the track I often look forward to hearing on my playlist, no matter how sad that statement actually is, will always be ‘Luna’ by Bombay Bicycle Club. The main reason for this is that this song reminds me of summer, a time I can only envisage right now as a pot of gold over the most horrific rainbow the next few months will be.

Apart from holding a sense of happiness and sun-kissed joy, ‘Luna’ is the perfect balance of ethereal and motivational: this song can be listened to absent-mindedly, in a moment of focused revision, or at the start of note and mind map making, in order to settle the nerves that come hand-in-hand with this exam season. In short, ‘Luna’ is the perfect revision song, and I advocate its position on every revision playlist ever.
