During these cold winter months, there’s nothing wrong with a bit of summertime nostalgia, and that’s exactly what Circa Waves’ new single ‘T-Shirt Weather’ has provided.

Unveiled via Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show yesterday evening, just as you’d expect ‘T-Shirt Weather’ did not disappoint. It’s left us all eagerly anticipating their forthcoming debut album Young Chasers, unfortunately we’ve got a while longer to wait!

This is a step away from Circa Waves usual head-first, brash approach. Initially seeming somewhat calmer and less boisterous than their previous work this song is deceptive: Circa Waves have clearly stuck to their guns. The tempo quickens and the volume soars building up to another feel good, catchy song leaving you dancing and singing along to the melodic guitar riffs and memorable chorus.

As you’d expect from any Circa Waves track ‘T-Shirt Weather’ is the epitome of today’s ‘Indie Rock’ genre, yet still remaining completely original. There’s no doubt they’re doing something right as their Spring headline tour is on its way to selling out, dates and details can be found here!
