With sounds reminding you of Tame Impala, Zac White’s latest release ‘Sometimes I Feel’ is an almost psychedelic take on a teenager’s life. With lyrics such as “I just don’t help myself / spending all day in my bed / smoking until I lose my head”, the song gives the impression of a far too familiar situation for most of us teenagers.

The echoing vocals over the fast drum beat ooze the message of the youth of today’s ever growing discontent, whilst hallucinogen-fuelled guitar strums appear in the background. The melancholia throughout the song is to be absorbed through multiple listens, as the single itself is unique to today’s up and coming music scene. It’s not the typical guitar and shouty vocal driven song we’re used to, instead a lot softer and with that Zac White is certainly a name to watch out for.
