Lauren Aquilina is a 20 year old singer-songwriter, based in London. Since 2012, she’s produced a successful trilogy of EP’s and has performed in the British Summer Time and Live At Leeds festival earlier this year. Also, for those Downton Abbey fans, she is the voice behind the song ‘Time to Say Goodbye’!
Lauren’s voice and sound has changed slightly over time but this single still has her signature style. Ocean is a beautifully crafted song, with flowing dynamics that build up to a loud and emotional chorus. After a soft intro and verse, the instrumental feels especially powerful, which contrasts and blends well with the lyrics and theme of the song.
