Whilst this track from Dollhouse, a group of four lads from Stroud, may have just over 1,000 plays on Soundcloud, do not underestimate them. They’ll only prove you wrong. Influenced by the likes of Joy Division, the hypnotic, dulcet vocals of Zak Thomas-Akoo lead you through a hazy blend of krautrock and psych pop melodies on this track. The drowsy, yet minimalist design of ‘Dawning and Rolling Around’ is the sonic equivalent of drinking a bottle of red wine and tumbling down the rabbit hole with Alice.

The promised EP from the group has yet to materialise, but the sophisticated and oddly sensual promises of ‘Dawning and Rolling Around’ should keep you in a dream like state in the meantime.
