After touring with US band Ex Hex in February, Princess released their third single ‘Black Window’ on March 2nd. The Dublin-based experimental rock/noise/indie duo has put together a hypnotising melody infused with infectious rhythms in a three minute song.

‘Black Window’ can only be described as trance-inducing and alluring. The song opens with a catchy guitar tune before lyrics join in softly, somewhat similar to Foal’s Prelude. Towards the end, the melody grows lighter, becoming bouncier and breaking up the song’s hypnotic style. Overall, ‘Black Window’ is a fine example of Princess’ work on the music scene.
