The most recent update to The Sims 4 offers character customisation choices for characters such as medical wearables, binders and top surgery scars.
Since its debut in February 2000, the series has evolved significantly and is currently pioneering the way for inclusive personalisation possibilities in video games.
One of the new medical wearables is a hearing aid for your toddler or older Sims. It is available in fifteen colour variations and can be placed in either the right or left ear of your Sim.
It is also possible to affix a glucose monitor on the right or left arm and abdomen of your toddler or an older Sim.
Players can find the top surgery scar under the body scars category for teens and older male Sims (for both masculine and feminine frames).
In the tops category, players can also discover a binder top for teenagers and older Sims, as well as a brand-new shapewear asset.

Others, however, questioned the realism of these customisations because the update does not allow you to wear a t-shirt over the binder and the binder doesn’t actually flatten the chest of your Sim.
Hopefully, EA will pay attention to these complaints and improve the customisations in upcoming updates.
The Sims 4 patch update was released on January 31 and is now playable on consoles, Mac and PC.
