Star of RuPaul’s Drag Race season six and RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 3 BenDeLaCreme will bring her cabaret show BenDeLaCreme is…READY TO BE COMMITTED to UK shores this June.
The drag icon, known simply as DeLa to fans, will tour the show across 14 dates throughout the UK, including seven at London’s Leicester Square Theatre.
DeLa is the writer, director, producer and one-queen star of the show, which blends burlesque, comedy, original music and more to tell the story of her search for love and marriage, with more than a few bumps along the way.
Expect to see DeLa deal with everything from “pervy Grindr guys” to “corpse-eating cats” as she struggles to find the perfect suitor.
The tour was initially set to tour the global stage prior to the pandemic but, like much of industry’s shows, has faced pain-staking delays.
“After two long years of postponements I’m OVER-FREAKING-JOYED to be bringing my new solo show back on the road! And I gotta tell you all: this one’s a doozy,” DeLa said.
“I can’t wait to share DeLa’s special day with all of you! Save the date!”
The show is DeLa’s fourth solo tour, and follows the success of her debut film, 2020’s The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Special, and her 2021 Christmas show, The Return of the Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show, LIVE!, where she toured alongside fellow RuPaul’s Drag Race alumni Jinkx Monsoon.
