Returnal, It Takes Two, Unpacking Among 2022 Bafta Games Award Winners.

The winners for the 2022 Bafta Games Awards have been announced. Hosted by Elle Osili-Wood, the awards celebrated the best games of the past year and celebrated gaming achievements across the entire industry

Among the night’s winners were Toem, which won the Debut Game award, Before Your Eyes, which won Game Beyond Entertainment and Forza Horizon 5 which won Best British Game.

The fan-voted EE Game of The Year was won by Unpacking, which also won Best Narrative, while It Takes Two won the awards for Original Property and Multiplayer.

In the performance categories, Returnal’s Jane Perry and Psychonauts 2’s Kimberly Brooks took home the awards for Leading Role and Supporting Role respectively.

The biggest winner of the night was Returnal which won four awards. Alongside their win in the Performance in a Leading Role were wins for Audio Achievement, Music, and the top prize of the night – Game of the Year.
