Quick Duck Theatre’s show Yours Sincerely will visit Soho Theatre in March.
Set in 2017, the show is a queer comedy that explores the benefits and the downfalls of letter writing. The audience follows Will, who has accidentally stolen 300 stamps from the post office and is using them to write letters. It is based on real-life experiences and is told using storytelling and lip-sync cabaret.
Yours Sincerely is written and performed by Will Jackson and was originally produced by Birmingham Rep as part of their Foundry Artist development programme.
It is directed by Anna Himali Howard and Lucy Bird. Tom Rackham is the composer and sound designer, and Chaz Webb is the stage manager.
The show previously ran at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2019, where it received five-star reviews from Broadway Baby and Feminist Fringe. Since then, it has been performed over 70 times in venues across the UK, and this year, it will reach its 90th performance.
Quick Duck Theatre was founded in 2018 and is based in Birmingham. Their third show Fashion Spies is a choose-your-own adventure show that debuted as part of Coventry UK City of Culture 2022 and will run at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe.
Yours Sincerely will run at Soho Theatre from 14-19 March. Tickets can be purchased online.
