Many may remember Inspiral Carpets for their highly successful stint during the 1990s, with frontman Tom Hingley at the forefront of their success. The lyricist famously beat off Noel Gallagher for the role, which was granted after a series of auditions for the role.

Hingley has recently announced a show at Leeds Belgrave Music Hall, where he is set to play Inspiral Carpets’ album Revenge Of The Goldfish in full, to mark its 25th anniversary.

While the show is set to showcase the best of the past, support will come in the form of Leeds natives Skull and The Calls, who’re making some encouraging noises in recent months.

The show will take place on Thursday 25th May and tickets can be bought here.
