Friday 25th November sees the birth of Rock The Refectory, a fundraiser organised by the University of Leeds. With the aim of raising funds for Cancer Research UK and Yorkshire Air Ambulance, the gig is a win-win providing an evening of entertainment, and a contribution to a worthy cause.
Set up by the University of Leeds, the gig will take place at The Refectory in (you guessed it) Leeds, and will host a bundle of regional upcoming bands. Performing at Rock The Refectory will be Evil Blizzard frontman Mike Whitehead’s side project One Sided Horse, followed by the hotly tipped Citrus Heights. Also joining a bill of prominent locals is Glass Mountain, a four-piece from Bradford; Ginger Tom, who have toured with the likes of The Pigeon Detectives, will take the headline spot.
Alongside the music, there’ll be a variety of performances and so on from the doors opening at 6:30pm, and a mass of prizes up for grabs courtesy of donations from bands and businesses.

Support local bands, and a brilliant cause by heading down to The Refectory on the 25th November for an evening of non-stop entertainment.
