The Internet was shocked with the terrible news that music legend Prince, aged 57, was found dead earlier today (April 21) in his Paisley Park estate in Chanhassen, Minnesota.
The singer’s publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, made the following statement: “It is with profound sadness that I am confirming that the legendary, iconic performer, Prince Rogers Nelson, has died at his Paisley Park residence this morning at the age of 57. There are no further details as to the cause of death at this time.”

The cause of death has not been confirmed yet, but the musician’s private jet was recently forced to make an emergency landing in Illinois on April 15 due to health reasons. He later spent a short period of time in hospital there. He was however discharged quickly and even appeared in concert the next day. Prince told his fans to ‘wait a few days before you waste any prayers’ following his stay in hospital.
Fans have arranged a tribute to Prince outside his estate and tributes are being paid all across social media.

One thing is for sure, The Purple One’s death does not mean that he will ever be forgotten. Although he will be dearly missed by those influenced by his music, Prince will continue to inspire and spread happiness for many generations to come.
