Players step into the ring once more in this year’s WWE release. For this chapter of the WWE 2K series, players will once again have the chance to take their battles outside the ring with crowd fighting and backstage brawling making a comeback. Also included in the game-play will be the opportunity to call out other characters in the MyCareer mode, the chance to become one of Paul Heyman’s clients and the chance to ally with Brock Lesnar (in the Xbox One and PS4 releases) and even make ingame Virtual Credit from selling merchandise and increasing your character profile with the new Promo Engine

With one of the biggest rosters of playable characters – over a dozen making their game début including Sasha Banks and A.J. Styles – fans of WWE will be spoilt for choice with 2K17. Those who pre-order will be able to play as WWE and WCW legend Bill Goldberg, as well as having the WCW Monday Nitro and Halloween Havoc arenas as playable locations. The NXT Edition will include limited edition packaging, an exclusive Canvas 2 Canvas lithograph designed by Rob Schamberger and signed by Shinsuke Nakamura, 8” Demon Finn Bálor figure and the NXT Enhancement Pack – which includes Nakamura, Nia Jax and Apollo Crews as playable characters, a special MyCareer NXT boost and an exclusive NXT Takeover: London Relics Card.
WWE 2K17 will be available on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 from October 11*
