As summer comes to a close, gamers will have another varied selection of titles to explore over August. Superheroes, Scouts, Augments and Racers are among the guises players can take with this month’s selection of games.

Batman: The Telltale Series

Telltale Games heads back to the world of comics with their latest title, as players will fight on the street of Gotham in this new episodic adventure. Playing as Bruce Wayne, in and out of costume, players will navigate their way through a new story with some familiar faces to meet along the way. With a line up that includes Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Alfred Pennyworth, Jim Gordon, Harvey Dent, Vicki Vale, Renee Montoya and Carmine Falcone, the game will be a whole new adventure to enjoy.

While the game will features Telltales signature animated style and choice-based adaptive gameplay, Batman will feature new visuals inspired by comic artists from the series, including Neal Adams, Greg Capullo and Jim Lee. With the series covering 5 episodes, Telltale have kept many details under wraps – including who else could appear later in the story. Along with the episodic release, there will also be a physical release on consoles in September, which will include a full season pass.

Batman: The Telltale Series – Episode 1: Realm of Shadows will be available on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PC, Mac, iOS and Android from August 2*
