The developers of Marvel’s Midnight Suns have announced that the game has been delayed for a second time.

Originally set to release in Spring 2022, the game was delayed until October 7, 2022. Now this release date has been scrapped. While no new release date has been confirmed, Take-Two Interactive stated in their latest financial results report that the title “…will launch later this fiscal year in Windows PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. The Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch versions will follow at a later date”.

This would mean that the game should be released sometime before March 31, 2023. The Switch version had already been planned for a release after October 2022. There was also a short message to fans posted on the game’s official Twitter account, thanking them for their support during the game’s development.

First announced at Gamescom 2021, Marvel’s Midnight Suns would see players take on the role of the Hunter, a forsaken child of Lilith who must now join forces with heroes from across the Marvel universe to stop the Mother of Demons from unleashing her dark magic and bringing forth her master Chthon. A task made all the more difficult as Lilith has been brainwashing and corrupting other superpowered beings into joining the ranks of the Fallen.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns is currently in development for release on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC.
