Autobahn
Although their name matches Kraftwerk’s 1974 soundscape ‘Autobahn’, their music is far from it. The Leeds-based band create a wall of gothic post-punk noise, underneath frontman Craig Johnson‘s angry, spitting vocals, with hints of that unmistakeable Ian Curtis style that so many bands of their ilk seem to be emulating these days. If Autobahn’s Soundcloud discography is anything to go by, their live set will be a gloriously gloomy affair.
Autobahn will be on the Leeds Beckett Main Stage at 6.30pm.
