Not content with only putting Lana Del Rey at the top of the billing, Oslo’s Øya Festival has also announced that Mac DeMarco will also be joining her in Norway’s capital, as well as two of the rising stars of 2016, Jenny Hval – playing to her home nation – and Angel Olsen.
Julia Jacklin, MØ and BADBADNOTGOOD are also big names that make next summer’s edition one for music fans to sit up and take note of.

Much has been made of Lana Del Rey releasing her new single ‘Wild Side’ last month, with rumours of a new album being in the works for the American songstress. She might be in need of new material to last her extensive tour of Scandinavia next summer, with Finland’s Flow Festival and Sweden’s Way Out West appearances also booked.
Øya Festival 2017 takes place in Oslo’s Tøyenparken, Norway, on 8th-12th August.
