The four-day festival, held in the colossal hills of the Lake District, will be celebrating its 11th anniversary this summer. Headlined by Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Kendal will run from 28th to 31st July.
This year could be the biggest to date, seeing an immense lineup that brings together an array of artists, comedians and DJs from across the musical spectrum.
Here are ten acts you should definitely watch out for.
Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds
The band, fronted by former Oasis star Noel, is headlining the festival, and will no doubt be a highlight for many. Their 2015 album, Chasing Yesterday, is bursting with incredible songs- Riverman commences with acoustic guitar chords to which you could happily sing Wonderwall, whilst Lock All The Doors surges with the cadences of Morning Glory. With infectious melodies that transport you back to the Britpop era, the band’s incandescent indie pop is sure to thrill fans.
