Exciting news for anime and Fortnite fans! A new trailer has revealed Jujutsu Kaisen characters are making their way to Fortnite!

Fortnite fans are no strangers to anime collaborations, as the battle royale has seen the likes of Naruto, Dragon Ball, My Hero Academia and Attack on Titan characters made available to purchase, now it seems Jujutsu Kaisen is in the mix.

Buzz on social media started swirling when renowned Fortnite data miner, HypeX, hinted at a beloved anime collaboration. Then @BarbieharpFN leaked images of Jujustu Kaisen characters in Fortnite. Now Fortnite has dropped a trailer confirming four new skins as part of the crossover.

Fan favourite Jujutsu Kaisen characters Yuji Itadori, Nobara Kugisaki, Megumi Fushiguro, and Satoru Gojo were revealed to be the skins available as part of the collaboration. These iconic anime characters will likely bring a range of accessories such as back blings and pickaxes inspired by the show with them. Unfortunately, we don’t know if any of the gang’s curse powers will be available to use on the Fortnite island as part of the event.

Fortnite fans have been treated to plenty of crossovers already this week. Celebrating its return, Futurama‘s core trio joins the Fortnite party. Fry comes with a Hypnotoad as a backbling and Leela brings her pet Nibbler too, along with everyone’s favourite foul-mouthed robot Bender.

Fans also saw another crossover with the Terminator franchise this week, as a skin resembling the iconic Arnold Schwarzenegger character made its debut in the Fortnite item shop. The skin has two variants, with one being a slightly more damaged version of The Terminator. This isn’t the first time Fortnite fans have received Terminator content, as back in January 2021 skins for Sarah Connor and the robotic T-800 Terminator skin became available.

While the exact date for the Jujutsu Kaisen characters appearing in the item shop is still under wraps, we can expect it to drop by August 8 with the next game update. Keep your eyes peeled and V-Bucks ready for these skins to drop in the item shop!

Fortnite is available to play on Nintendo Switch, Playstation, Xbox and PC. Jujutsu Kaisen is available to stream on Crunchyroll.
