Patricia Arquette has recently become a feminist icon after the 87th Annual Academy Awards in which she addressed the taboo issue of gender inequality in Hollywood and has consequently gained a place on my long list of inspirational people. It was extremely tough to choose just one person but from being heavily involved in charity work, to obtaining an acting range that can carry her from hysterically funny to terrifying in seconds. She is (for me) one of the most underrated and talented actresses of her generation. She never seems to give up on herself or conform to beauty standards and instead focuses on her career – of which has not been in the limelight for long – making her a humble, sophisticated and inspirational human being.
