Indietracks Festival announced Saint Etienne, The Aislers Set, and The Spook School as its main headliners on Monday night as it celebrates its tenth anniversary this summer.
The indiepop festival, situated at Swanwick Junction Railway Station in Derbyshire, will take place from Friday 29th – Sunday 31st July.
Last year, Indietracks, which started as a one-night event in April 2007, had one of its biggest line-ups, with bands such as The Go! Team, Martha, and Colour Me Wednesday embodying the festivals’ upbeat spirit.
19 artists were also announced, keeping things fresh with an array of exciting talent. This includes DIY indie band ¡Ay Carmela!, Scottish singer-songwriter Chrissy Barnacle, and punk band Shopping.
The festival sees around 50 bands playing across four stages. This consists of an outdoor stage overlooking the railway station, an old train shed, an intimate church stage, and a train stage, where bands perform acoustic sets on a steam train.
It also includes a merchandise tent with stalls selling records, band t-shirts, and badges, along with acoustic sets throughout the weekend.
For those who want to take a break from the music, there is a wide range of art and craft workshops suitable for children and adults, railway attractions and museums, and a late night campsite disco.
With Indietracks shaping up to be one of the highlights of the summer, early bird tickets are priced at £72 before 15th May, after which they are priced at £79 + £3 booking fee. They can be purchased online here.
