Thor: Ragnarok

No trailer released as of this article, but damn. News being released about Thor: Ragnarok is making this one of the most interesting Marvel releases yet, especially considering Thor’s two previous films have been the dullest of MCU so far.

Replicating the ‘mini-Avengers’ structure of Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War, there’s more than beautiful locks and a muscular Australian on show here. Hulk and Doctor Strange will feature as major characters in what director Taika Watiti has dubbed ‘an 80’s fantasy road trip.’ Watiti’s last couple films were small indie comedies, What We Do In The Shadows is a mockumentary about vampire flat-mates and his recent success Hunt For The Wilderpeople is a comedy about a young boy running away from the law in his native New Zealand.

If you want to know anything else about the crazy tone of this film, just watch this mockumentary short starring Thor, directed by Taika.
