With their frenetic live shows and infectious sound, Blaenavon have gradually been building up a reputation that has seen them rise to the top of the indie mantle. With a debut album in the works it remains to be seen what heights these guys can ascent.

Black Honey
Having been named one of the indie bands to watch in 2016 by The Guardian, Black Honey have stormed festival stages around the world. Captured at Flying Vinyl Festival back in April, the band were mid way through a tour supporting Catfish And The Bottlemen.

CLAY
The Leeds quartet are being tipped by many to achieve a similar level of success as fellow indie heartthrobs Blossoms, and so far this notion doesn’t appear to be too far wide of the mark. The next year or so promises to be a defining time for the group and only time will determine their musical pathway.

DEAD!
Having signed to Infectious Records in the spring, DEAD!, have been rising metiorically. Known for their DIY tours, most recently taking over a series of recording studios, the Soho based Brit-rockers sure know how to put on an intimate show.

Hailed as one of Nottingham’s finest, Kagoule have certainly lived up to that hype this summer. Having played the nottingham circuit for years, the trio has seen themselves play bigger and bigger shows over the past year.

Spring King
Having released their debut album in June, Spring King have made a huge impact over the last 12 months. With an album filled with earworms, it’s no surprise that their track City was the first song played by Zane Lowe on Apple’s Beats 1. Having bumped into them at Live At Leeds the band immediately captured our ears.

Yonaka
It’s no doubt that in the last few years Brighton has become a breeding ground for some of the most exciting bands. Yonaka are just one of the many stellar acts that have come out of the seaside town this past year. Yossarian
Yossarian are in the category of artists whose sound does not belong on such a small stage. With the imminent release of their second crowd-funded album Light Up My Head, which follows up on The Little We Know – the debut that earned them the label of the ‘lovechild of Elbow and The National’.

VANT
We first caught VANT over a year ago playing a small, now defunct, pub in Camden to just a handful of friends and fans. This summer has brought the band to dazzeling heights. Having played their Glastonbury debut, travelled to Japan for a mainstage appearance at Fuji Rocks and released their debut EP we can’t wait to see what the band has in stock for us next year.
