Gaming News: Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Date Set

Microsoft have announced the date that Xbox One users will be able to play Xbox 360 games on their consoles.

First announced at E3 earlier this year, Backwards Compatibility will launch on consoles on November 12. This will allow gamers to play Xbox 360 titles on Xbox One without having to re-purchase the games for the next-gen console.

As well as this new feature, there will be an overhaul to the user interface happening at the same time. The new interface will have more social options, a new look, better access to the Store and Snap along with more functional game hubs for players to use as part of what’s been dubbed the ‘New Xbox One Experience’.
