Details have been revealed for the latest in the FPS franchise.
Set in 10,000BC in the land of Oros, players take on the role of Takkar, a hunter who finds himself alone in this land and must fight to survive as he is the last of his tribe left alive following a hunting expedition gone wrong.
Players will have to fight off threats from animal and man in the prehistoric open-world adventure. They will also have to craft weapons, forage for supplies and build their camps from scratch in this “single player experience”. A day to night cycle will see a new dimension of gameplay with surprises at all times promised by Ubisoft.
Along with the primary story, the game’s pre-order comes with Legend of the Mammoth, an additional three mission story bonus to play through.
Far Cry Primal will be available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 from February 23, 2016 and on PC from March 2016. Watch the launch trailer below.
