The Last of Us Part II has been delayed indefinitely. Announcing the news in a statement, PlayStation announced the game would be delayed, citing the current pandemic as part of the reason behind the decision.

In addition, Naughty Dog published their own message to fans on Twitter, saying that the game was in the later stages of development and that the decision was made due to “…logistics beyond our control…” in the current climate.

The game has originally been scheduled to release in February but was delayed to May 29, 2020 in October of 2019 to allow more time for completion. No information about a new release date was announced by either company.
