The historical fantasy title will launch in early 2017.
Nioh – the long awaited title from Team Ninja – will be released in 2017.
Speaking at the Tokyo Game Show, Koei Tecmo general producer Kou Shibusawa announced that the game will have a simultaneous worldwide release on February 9 2017.
The title was first announced in 2004 for the PlayStation 3, but will now be on PlayStation 4 after a series of issues – including studio mergers and international trademarks – delayed the game’s development and release.
Nioh will be available on PlayStation 4 from February 9 2017. Watch a trailer below.
