Microsoft have confirmed the official release date for the new hardware.
Xbox One Elite controllers will feature hair trigger locks, interchangeable parts such as paddles, thumbsticks and direction pads. The controller has been designed with the help of gamers and will also feature profile storage and easier console connectivity.
The controller will also be part of the Xbox One Elite Bundle to be released in November, which is also when backwards compatibility is due to begin general availability on Xbox One.
In the UK, Elite Controllers will start at £119.99 while Elite Bundles will start at £399.99.
The Xbox One Elite Controller will be available from October 27 and the Xbox One Elite Bundle will be available from November 3. Both are available to pre-order now via the Microsoft Store.
