The company made the announcements at The Game Awards.
Telltale Games have announced more details about the upcoming third season of The Walking Dead. Entitled A New Frontier, the new season will introduce players to a new character – Javier – and will focus on his desire to find his family. Players were also given an insight into Javier’s life with a new trailer.
Set in the early days of the apocalypse, the trailer focuses on Javier and his family – who are shocked to discover that one of their relatives has returned from the dead. From that point, Javier fights to save those closest to him. The new trailer also see Javier meets series regular Clementine, who is now a hardened teenager.
As well as the new trailer, Telltale also confirmed that the first two episodes of the series will be released together when the game launches on December 20.
The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series – A New Frontier will be available on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PC, iOS and Android from December 20. Watch the new trailer below.
