Han Solo, Princess Leia and Emperor Palpatine will feature in the upcoming game.

Details for the first icons were unveiled by the game’s Lead Hero Designer Jamie Keen, along with a first look at the trio as they will appear in the game and their abilities.

Princess Leia will act as a support to players, providing buffs and supplies. If players spawn in near her position, they will become Alderaan Honour Guards as a bonus. As well as a group shield, Leia will also have a special, one shot kill ‘Trooper’s Bane’ ability.

Those playing along with the Emperor will have access to his ‘Force Lightning’ ability from the films with the added effect of chain lightning for enemies in close proximity to targets. The ‘Force Dash’ will allows fast movement through environments while player will also be able to access his ‘Imperial Resources’ to gain power-ups.

As for Han Solo, he will be more offensive based with his abilities and how he fits into game play with a very high damage output. Han’s ‘Rapid Fire’ will allow for heavy blaster fire without overheating, ‘Lucky Shot’ will make quick work of enemies, taking them out with one shot, and ‘Shoulder Charge’ will allow a quick, if aggressive, way in or out of battle depending on the mission.

All of these characters will be available in game from launch to players to use.

Star Wars Battlefront will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC from November 19.
